PALM CITY (CBS 8) - The man who was shot and killed in Palm City Saturday night has been identified.

Police say 28-year-old Reynaldo Bonoan was at child’s birthday party and left to run an errand. As he returned to the party, he was shot.

News 8’s Adrienne Moore files this video report with how family and friends are remembering Bonoan.

SAN DIEGO (CNS/CBS 8) - A 28-year-old man fatally shot as he returned to a child’s birthday party in Palm City was identified Sunday.

Reynaldo Bonoan ran an errand and was shot by a gunman as he returned to the party in the 3400 block of Alonquin Way about 4:20 p.m., San Diego police Lt. Kevin Rooney said.

Bonoan parked on Churrituck Drive and started to walk west on Alonquin Way when he was shot, Rooney said. Paramedics arrived to treat the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:33 p.m., Rooney said.

The motive for the shooting was unknown, Rooney said.

The suspect was described as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches and 180 pounds, wearing a red plaid shirt and long khaki shorts.

He fled in a white Mitsubishi with three occupants, last seen southbound on Churrituck Drive, witnesses told police.

Police asked anyone with more information to call detectives at (619) 531- 2293, or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.

this photo look familiar? its of my sister and I. I posted it not long ago, and its since gotten 1000+ notes on Tumblr and counting. The caption of the photo is talking about our bond, and how strong my sister is for continuing to fight her battle of cancer everyday of the past 5 years. Since I posted the photo, my sister lost her battle. She passed away on the 20/12/11 at 8:49pm in my arms. My sister was my bestfriend, and I want to continue to honor her. Reblog to keep my sisters spirit alive for as long as possible, she deserves it.
